Joint Head of Outreach and Engagement
What gets me out of bed in the morning, apart from two young daughters waking up far too early, is being part of a movement that is enabling people to make positive change in their communities. I have been with DTA Wales since 2019, firstly as the Operations & Delivery Coordinator for the Renew Wales programme through to its conclusion in the summer of 2022, then taking on my current role as Head of Outreach and Engagement.
Prior to DTA Wales I was involved for several years in the local food scene of the Dyfi Valley, growing and selling food through a cooperative veg-box scheme and coordinating the community food resilience project Edible Mach. My earlier career was in the mobile tech industry, leading software projects that often spanned several partnering companies. I work from home in Machynlleth and love to get out in the surrounding hills and woodlands whenever I can.
