Join us for Trash to Treasure – a workshop that showcases the creative potential of reusing and repurposing materials, turning waste into something valuable.
We will begin with engaging talks and practical demonstrations from key contributors, including Repair Cafe Wales, the Porthmadog Ffiws maker workshop, and a clothes upcycler, sharing their expertise in creative reuse. Following the talks, attendees will have the opportunity to explore Porthmadog’s community garden spaces, which demonstrate how discarded materials can be transformed into functional and beautiful elements for the garden.
This event is ideal for local clubs, community groups, schools, and curious individuals interested in sustainability. With opportunities to connect, learn, and share ideas, attendees will leave inspired to embrace re-use instead of buying new.
